Show Choir Spring Calendar/Choreo/Trip Announcements
We have started learning the songs for the spring show and it’s going to be an AMAZING show! We have a few important notes for students and parents regarding the next few months of show choir:
-Choreo Starts on March 20 and we because of scheduling conflicts at the theater we will be holding our first week of choreo at the yellow ag building (next to the red barn). We will be at that building from March 20-28, then we will move into the theater for the next week of choreo and the following week of show.
- This year we will not be having any practices or the free dress rehearsal on Saturday April 4. Friday April 3 will be our closed tech and dress rehersal and our show will run April 6-10 with 2 shows on Friday the 10th, a matinee at 12:00pm and evening show at 7:30. These changes are just for this spring and were made to accommodate our band program leaving on their cruise (April 11) and to allow our LDS students to participate in the Church Special General Conference (April 4&5).
-Due to problems with booking out of province busses we have changed our trip destination to Edmonton. We will be going to Drumheller (Royal Tyrrell Museum), the West Ed Mall waterpark and a few other great activities! The dates remain the same, May 6-9 but the cost is now $250/student. We hope this will allow more students to be able to participate on trip! Those who have paid the $400 for the Kelowna trip will be refunded $150. Everyone needs to have the full trip payment of $250 in to Raymond High School by February 29 so that we can get rooms and activities booked. An itinerary, permission slips and ASBIE forms will be sent home with students the beginning of March.
